Uganda Safaris
No previous experience is required - A free training / practice session is provided before each safari starts- on 3 specially designed circuits. Well maintained Honda and Yamaha ATVs (All Terrain Vehicles) quad-bikes and Kids Quads are available for all ages, all levels, all adventure.
Safaris are tailored to suit the abilities of the rider and vary from easy, scenic rides to tough, challenging sections and everything in between. Protective clothing and refreshments are inclusive. No minimum numbers and ‘the wetter the better’ – ATV’s love mud.
The 2 hour ride is the most popular safari. Start time will be pre- booked between 1100 to 14 hours. Easy trails make up the start of the trip and then there are the options of more 'technical' sections if suitable. Follow the Nile downstream from Bujagali Falls and then away from the river banks, through the farmland and forest of rural Uganda.
Stop at various viewpoints and points of interest. Ride down the steep banks to the water's edge, giving you a chance to have a splash in the Nile and freshen up with great photo opportunities.
Following winding trails and tracks stop in some of the small villages and trading centres for a chance to meet the people living in the area. Your guide(s) carry bottled water and money to buy cold drinks at one of the Trading Centres that you will ride through. Then it's back on the trail for some faster sections. The final part of the safari takes you past Soft Power's Amagazi Education Centre and through Kyabirwa Village where most of the guides live. Back to our base at Bujagali Falls for a warm 'welcome back'.
