The driver, will pick you from hotel at 0800 and drive you to Fort portal. Arrive in time for Lunch
(which you may have at a restaurant of your choice- please pay direct).
In the afternoon, have a short city tour including Tooro Kingdom Historical site with wonderful
view of Fort Portal town with all its beauty and learn about the people. Continue to Kibale to
Rweetera camp for overnight. HB.
This morning after breakfast at 0730, armed with enough drinking water, drive to Kibale Forest
National Park, where the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa is
represented. After registration, and briefing, you will be led to the tracking point and off you go
with your guides in search of the Chimpanzees (also known as ‘the delightful apes’). Kibale is also
a home of species like the rare I'Hoest's monkey, the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey
cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon among others. The walk takes 2-3 hours.
After a lunch break, visit Amabere Ganyina Mwiru (The Caves are a historic site believed to be the
birthplace of the founding King of the Bachwezi, located 5km west of Fort portal) and enjoy hike
and crater lakes scenery. Return to the camp. Dinner and overnight, /n Rweetera Camp. HB
This morning after breakfast at 0900, enjoy one hour canoeing on the lake Nyabikyere. Return to the camp to freshen up before heading to Kampala. Arrive late afternoon
