Flying Safaris

Uganda is a fairly small country and is accessible by road to all tour attractions . However the option of flying through out or part flying part driving is an option that will not only give you great views the most fascinating sights , but will also get you to your destination in quick time to maximize tour time in the wilderness or country side .

Aero link Uganda offers daily flights / three fights a day to Kihihi Airstrip which serves Queen Elizabeth National Park’s remote Ishasha sector, the Buhoma / northern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park and Kisoro Airstrip with one morning flight a day which serves Southern Bwindi park with no minimum group size.Flights to Semliki Wildlife Reserve are offered daily subject to a minimum group size of 4 persons.Flights to Kidepo Valley National Park and Murchison Falls National Park are scheduled for WED, FRI, SUN subject to a minimum group size of 4 persons.

Flying safaris provide short travelling time most suited for medium to luxury type of accommodation . The safari begin or End at Entebbe International airport. For a slightly longer programs a mix of road and air transport will enhance your experience.

  • 1 gorilla tracking permit per person in the Buhoma, or  Nkuringo ,area of Southern Bwindi
  • Airstrip Transfers  to and from lodges
  • Transfers between your lodge and ranger post (where the trek commences), if required at a cost to be provided
  • All statutory taxes

What is not included?

  • Beverages, incidentals, gratuities and items of a personal nature
  • Optional porter, should you require a porter during the trek (payable direct $ 20)
  • Additional nights – Rates for additional nights at Bwindi are on request. Additional activities include nature
